Watford Mencap – 19 May

This was a longer visit than yesterday, when I was passing on my charity walk. I had run the Watford 10K earlier in the month in aid of Mencap. They have dedicated staff and volunteers serving our community.

Three Rivers Citzens Advice Bureau – 19 May

2:30pm.  Yesterday on my Charity Walk I visited the South Oxhey and Rickmansworth offices . The Abbots Langley office was shut by the time I was in Abbots Langley. The free advice that the staff and volunteers provide to anyone within our community is amazing.

Watersmeet – 19 May

This was my final visit as Chairman to Watersmeet, to thank staff and volunteers for what they do. I will be back for future events including:

  • Friends of Watersmeet Coffee Morning
  • Pantomine
  • Artistmeet – New exhibitions

Lynda Jackson Macmillan Cancer Centre – 19 May

This was an opportunity to meet with staff and volunteers and thank them for what they do. I must enter the Moor Park 10K in September which is a major fund raising event for them.

The Centre, South Oxhey – 19 May

After my visit to Warren Dell School, I quickly visited The Centre in South Oxhey, where I took a picture of two badminton players who had been using the facilities.
