Harvey Road School – September 11thPosted: September 11, 2014
The visit to Harvey Road School was to present badges to the new School Council. Nick Rowlands the Head Teacher explained the role of the School Council and how they could work to make a great school better. Having rung the bell at the school gate (new since my last visit) there was plenty of parking. The old Harvey Road School was in wooden huts on what are now the playing fields. Nick Rowland is the longest serving Head Teacher in Croxley. I briefly explained the role of Chairman of the District Council. They knew all three rivers – Chess, Colne and Gade.
I will go back and visit the School Council again and have a tour of the School in November. The Chair of Governors is the Rev. Miriam Mugan , Vicar of All Saints Church. She will be hosting the Civic Service on October 19th.
